I'm at work, on reception, when my boss wheel's in a trolley full of leaflets that must be sorted and put into various cupboards in the visitor centre behind me.
Mind numbing work but never the less something to do. Only every time I walk away from the phone it rings. I am fed up of just getting in there, picking up a pile and the damn phone going.
So, thats it. I am sitting here and the leaflets can go whistle for all I care. When will bosses realise you can't be in two places at once. They either want a receptionist to answer the phone or they don't!!!!!

Oh, that was going on at my work place the other day too! Reception has recently been cut down to one person, instead of two, and it's chaos! Everyone else who works in the area from time to time is torn between wanting to help, and holding firm to getting on with their own jobs, so management can be told it's not working with one person!
I can get away with it best, as I'm only in one day, and becasue I don't have my own computer, have to use one of the communcal ones in the Reception area. It's more trouble letting me answer the phone than help!!
