Fat Fab and Forty

Firstly can I say a big thank you for all of the lovely messages I had wishing me Happy Birthday...it was lovely to log on today and get them all....

I had a nice day, quiet, but nice. Just pottered about, went into town for an hour with hubby and Jess..then off to the pub for a meal. It was nice not to have to dash about....and now I'm 40 I will probably find dashing about even harder!

Its strange the affect chaning from one age to another can have when there is a zero involved. I feel I have joined a whole new club...the over 40's! I do feel slightly more empowered, I am woman hear me roar! I am forty years old....and there is a certain wisdom that goes with that....

So stand back....I'm coming through

40 is brilliant. Okay, there's stuff to deal with - like being 50 next - but I feel so much more confident. It's only when you get to 40 that you realise you've grown up - in a good way. Love it love it love it!

I am pleased to hear you had a happy birthday. Age doesn't come into it. Your as young as you feel, I always say!

  Well isn't that strange, I am back, and I chose today of all days to return....
  
  Am doing fine...am over the moon at getting a new job...but exhausted as I'm working three jobs over six days. 9-12.15 then a mad dash across town to start the next one 1-5 and an hours drive either end of that.
  
  Then Saturday I'm off cleaning five holiday cottages!
  
  I might be moaning aloud but I'm smiling (or asleep) on the inside
